Odd Object Strength Development

A: Sled push guided practice
Coaching points:
-High handle out & back
-Hands high, shoulders low
-Drive thru the legs
-Can bias to anterior or posterior
-Head neutral as possible

B: Farmers’ carry guided practice
Coaching points:
-Active shoulder
-Chin tucked in
-Different grips possible
-Short, quick steps
-Bias to heavier

Odd Object/Strongman Conditioning, Long-Duration


For time, in teams of 2:
   400 meter sled push
   400 meter farm carry
   1600 meter row
   400 meter buddy carry
   400 meter plate carry

25-minute time cap.

Execution: All work divided. 1 working, 1 resting. 

After-Hour Accessory Exercise

Strength: Dumbbell skull crushers, 3 sets of 12 across.

Strength: Dumbbell bent-over rows, 3 sets of 12 across.
